  *  THREE WEEKS ACTING IN NEW YORK CITY!

You will remember that last year, I had the honor of working on a new

play, Self-Injurious Behavior, by Jessica Cavanagh. Many have people

asked what would come to follow the Theatre 3 Workshop. Well,

friends, for those who don't know, we just spent three whole weeks in

New York City doing an AEA showcase of the play. The performances

took place at the 30th St Theatre (at Urban Stages) and all tickets sales

went to two autism charities. I feel extremely blessed to have been

a part of the early life of this play and had an amazing time living

and working in the City. We don't know what the future holds, but I

know that lives have already been touched by the sharing of Jessica's

story. To keep up with the future of Self-Injurious Behavior, it's

productions or advocacy, check out the website sibonstage.com or

follow Self-Injurious Behavior NYC on FC or @sibnyc on Instagram.

  *   TV AND NEW MEDIA

This year started off with a grand Location Management adventure.

I was brought on to scout and manage all locations for the first season

of Lone Star Justice, a new docu-series about law enforcement in

Smith County, Texas. The team filmed this 6-episode series all over the

metroplex over the course of months and I am beyond grateful, as

always, to the incredible film-friendly locations in DFW and the

tremendously talented crew I got to work with, some old friends and

some new. Thank you, Jarrett Creative for bringing work to Texas!

Extra special thanks go out to the City of Haltom City and the Haltom

City Law Enforcement for their incredible support on this project! Look

for Lone Star Justice on ID this June.

UPDATE: Lone Star Justice airs Wednesdays on ID begining June 5th!

  *  In February, I served as First Assistant Director for a new web series,

The Realty. Each of the first six episodes of The Realty, Season 1 was

filmed in both English and Spanish so as to deliver the series to two

audiences simultaneously. The bilingual lead talent and producers, fun-

loving and hard-working crew, and some hilarious guest actors made

this a great experience. Keep your eye out for The Realty Web Series

and follow The Realty TV on FB or @therealty.tv on Instagram for

updates and behind the camera shenanigans.

UPDATE: The Realty episodes are dropping now on YouTube!

    VOICEOVER

Most recently, I was invited to the booth to narrate a memoir called

Living with the Devil, by Lori Hart and Cindy Hart, sisters who have

had a fascinating and quite unbelievable true story to share for years

and it is finally out for the world to read and hear. I've also narrated a

few romance novels that are available on Audible. If romance is your

thing, check them out! Though the Smithsonian Channel on Audible was

discontinued, you can still listen to some of their periodicals I voiced on

Audible too. Click button for samples.

 *   FILM

Aware Films and I have been at it again, but this time I had the

honor of producing a short-film with Courtney, who also directed! I

can't yet disclose the plot or title, but I can tell you that it is based

on a new play that was recently produced in Dallas. We are in

post-production and I am SUPER excited to share everything with

you as soon as I can! Special thanks to the City of Corsicana for

everything they did to make Courtney's vision a reality. We had a

truly amazing crew and cast who roughed-it for days in the cold

end of winter and I owe them all more than I can ever repay... for

their work, creativity, stamina, passion, ruined clothes, and terrific

senses of humor. Here's a photo of the team in all their glory.

Much love to these humans. (20/10 Will hire again.)

What's next? Time will tell.

Stay tuned.  (Does that mean anything to kids anymore? I wonder about these things.)
